“ We always are on the lookout for some good steak, big enough portions and good prices. This place did not disappoint. There was enough for my husband and I to eat and take some home for the next day. The place is not fancy but it's clean and the service is very attentive. ”
“ A hidden gem in Kearny, NJ! The grilled whole sea bass was perfect. It reminded my wife growing up back home near the beach on weekends and gathering with family and friends having fresh caught seafood bbq. The churasco mix was abundant for one person and perfect if you're bulking up on protein. The white sangria was very refreshing and highly recommended! We will certainly come back with friends here! ”
“ This is a real Brazilian place which is not common in Kearny and is much more like the Brazilian restaurants which you might find in Ironbound. The food was excellent; I had both the sea bass and the salmon. The sea bass is the entire fish and it is grilled just as I would always want to have in any restaurant, with no fancy attempts at sauces. Both dishes were served with a wonderful combination of marinated vegetables and white rice, and the fish was clearly recently caught. I tried the lemonade which was tasty and was served with a few fresh lime slices. The staff were from Brazil and were consistently helpful. By good luck this place is less than a one-mile walk from my house. ”
“ I had gone to Brasas Grill Bar last week around lunch-time. Service was very good; my friend and I were seated almost immediately. From my photo, you can see that I ordered the "Steak and Shrimp", which is priced at $22.99. Maybe I come from an american mindset, but when I picture Steak, I envision steak? The steak portion of the "Steak and Shrimp" were pieces of cut meat --- not steak. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious; the meat just caught me by surprise. In any case service and food were 4 stars. The missing star is simply because some people could be confused by the name of a menu item. ”
“ This place was great! We had such a great time the owner/manager was super helpful and friendly, our waitress was great and the food was so damn tasty. We got the ultimate BBQ mix that said was for 2 on the menu but easily could have fed 3 maybe 4. The bartender did a great job with all of our cocktails and just overall we had a great time. The place was super busy though with big groups so you might want to call ahead if you're coming on a Saturday night. Overall I'll probably be back when my meat sweats stop. Cheers! ”
“ This place exudes a very cool vibe. There's a friendly, knowledgeable staff, well crafted cocktails and menu filled with all your favorite Brazilian dishes. The fried chicken app was incredible. Perfectly crisp and crunchy, served with a homemade hot sauce which was worth the price of admission alone! The garlic shrimp will keep the vampires at bay for the rest of the night. The mixed grill was a beautifully crafted cutting board piled high, a carnivore's dream. Tres Leches and Churros for desert finished the meal off. On this Saturday karaoke was just warming up around 8:00. We were only a table of 4 but the gratuity was added to the bill. I have no problem with that as long as I know. We tipped on top of that since the service was exceptional, deserving of more than 18%. This place needs to be a regular in my restaurant rotation! ”
